为什么是女性和性别研究？
女性与性别研究在20世纪60年代末和70年代初兴起于大学校园，作为重新平衡高等教育课程的一种方式。 为了应对高等教育课程课程中妇女的缺席、歪曲和轻视，妇女和性别研究领域应运而生。 世纪挑战集团提供两门课程。 In the 妇女与性别研究 course (WGS 101), students study not only women’s history, which was often omitted from college curriculum and texts, and achievements, but also women’s diverse experiences, perspectives, and contributions by examining cultural beliefs and stereotyped images of women and their roles in different times and places. 本课程探讨妇女与工作、身体形象、媒体影响、妇女与政治、妇女与法律、妇女历史、性别角色社会化、多样性问题、性别暴力和女权主义。 第二门课程（WGS-201）深入探讨LGBTQ群体。
